Meet Our Staff

Denny Drinkard is President and licensed agent with Scott & Wilson Insurance, a Local Independent Insurance Agency in Appomattox, VA. He and his wife, Jackie, purchased Scott & Wilson Insurance in 2006, where they are both very much involved in the everyday business activities. Denny has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry and draws on serving his clients with his broad experience and understanding of their insurance needs. When not working, he enjoys golfing, kayaking, and spending time with his family.

Jackie Drinkard is Vice President and a licensed agent with Scott & Wilson Insurance. Her involvement with Scott & Wilson Insurance includes not only the insurance side of the business, but also the accounting and administrative side as well. She has over 25+ years of experience in accounting and has over a decade of experience in the insurance industry. She is dedicated to giving the best service and recommendations to each client she serves. She has spent many years volunteering in her community, as she believes it is very important to give back.

Frank Williams is a licensed commercial lines agent with Scott & Wilson Insurance. He joined the agency in 2006, and he has over 40 years of experience in the business as a company underwriter, marketing representative, and agency salesperson. Frank is a graduate of Virginia Tech and holds the CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) designation. He is focused on making a customer’s insurance purchase an enjoyable, simple experience. Frank’s personal interests are tennis, biking, genealogy, and time with his family.

Autumn O’Brien is a licensed agent with Scott & Wilson Insurance, where she assists with the Commercial Business Accounts. Autumn has been in the insurance industry since 2004. She started her career as a Commercial Underwriter with Nationwide Insurance for twelve years before moving into the Independent Agency field. She has extensive knowledge of commercial insurance, especially within the service trade. She also has a Business degree from Liberty University, with a focus in Business Management and Marketing. When not working, Autumn can usually be found spending time with her husband and children on his family farm.

Candice Drinkard joined the Scott & Wilson team in 2023. She is the Receptionist in the Appomattox office and is the primary point of contact for our clients, handling every phone call and front-desk interaction with a smile. Candice enjoys assisting clients in finding exactly what they need and is proud to support the family business her parents own.  In addition, she is a graduate of Central Virginia Community College with a degree in Business Administration Management Technology. Candice blends her professional proficiency with a strong, personal dedication to the organization. When not at work, she enjoys hanging out with her dog Daisy, her boyfriend Bryant, and her friends.

Cheyenne Mueller is a licensed personal lines agent with Scott & Wilson Insurance. She has been licensed for two years and specializes in homeowners and auto insurance, helping clients find coverage that fits their needs and provides peace of mind. Cheyenne enjoys working closely with clients and takes pride in providing friendly, dependable service throughout the insurance process. Outside of the office, Cheyenne enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as relaxing with a good book.

Diane Wisecarver: is a personal lines agent with Scott and Wilson Insurance and has been since the Wisecarver Agency was purchased in 2023. Prior to that, she worked with the Wisecarver Agency for 35 years. She is focused on helping clients navigate through each situation with understanding and care. She thrives on going above and beyond to find the best combination for the client. When not in the office, she can be found working on the family farm, raising cattle, or hanging out with her beautiful grandchildren.

Wendy Edwards is our new CSR at the Rustburg location and has 30+ years of customer service experience. Wendy is currently studying to become one of our property and casualty agents. Away from the office, she enjoys reading, writing and spending time with her family and friends.
